Hericium erinaceus · 100% fruiting body · 8:1 dual-extract · ≥25% β-glucans
The focus workhorse. Lion's mane has the largest clinical-research base of any functional mushroom in the cognitive-function space. The most-cited trial (Mori 2009, Japan) used 3 g/day over 16 weeks in older adults with mild cognitive impairment — their scores improved significantly and declined again after stopping.
We dose 1 g per serving. That sits at the upper end of common consumer products (most competitors use 500 mg) but is below the Mori clinical-trial dose. That's an honest trade-off: one cup per day is the product promise. Multi-gram daily dosing would mean three cups, which isn't the format.

Cordyceps militaris
750 mg
100% fruiting body · 10:1 extract
Cordyceps is the mushroom most associated with athletic performance and exercise tolerance. Hirsch et al. 2017 saw VO₂ max improve +4.8 ml·kg⁻¹·min⁻¹ after 3 weeks of a mushroom blend containing cordyceps. The blend was dosed at 4 g/day. Our 750 mg is below that.
We include it because the cordyceps-and-focus folk-wisdom predates the athletic literature — it's the ingredient people who "need a cup to get going" tend to notice first. Fruiting-body-only (never mycelium-on-grain) per the Nammex methodology.
Ganoderma lucidum · 100% fruiting body · 10:1 extract · ≥25% β-glucans
Reishi is the balance ingredient. Mechanistic studies (Yao et al. 2021, Scientific Reports) show a sleep-promoting effect through gut-microbiota and serotonin pathways in mice. Human trials are smaller pilots at 6 g/day. Our 500 mg is a fraction of trial doses — we include it for traditional balance, not as a sleep claim.
Green-tea-derived amino acid · pharmaceutical-grade
The non-mushroom anchor of Solin, and the one with the most directly-applicable research. Haskell et al. 2008 (Biological Psychology) showed that 250 mg L-theanine + 150 mg caffeine improved attention and reaction time beyond caffeine alone. Our 200 mg sits near that trial dose, paired with ~90 mg caffeine — the L-theanine-to-caffeine ratio matches the published synergy direction while keeping absolute caffeine low.
Green tea + coffee fruit · natural sources only
Roughly equivalent to a single drip-coffee serving. Deliberately under-dosed relative to most energy drinks or Keurig pods. The L-theanine pairing is what gives the focus without the jitters; dumping more caffeine into the blend would undermine the no-crash positioning.
Cacao + MCT powder
taste + mouthfeel
Functional vehicle · not active
Natural cacao for flavor. MCT powder for mouthfeel and as a fat vehicle for extract absorption. No sweeteners, no stevia, no artificial flavors.
